Passie Apps ("we", "us", or "our") operates Basket Shield. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of Basket Shield.
Information We Collect
When you use Basket Shield, we collect your email address and account authentication tokens (OAuth tokens) required to connect to your Etsy shop. We cache your listing titles, tags, and descriptions solely for the purpose of scanning them for trademarked keywords. We do not store credit card information; all payments are processed securely by Paddle.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the core scanning service, to process transactions, to send you alerts regarding flagged listings, and to communicate with you about product features and updates.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your Personal Information. We share data only with service providers who assist us in operating Basket Shield:
- Etsy API: To fetch your active and draft listings.
- Supabase: For secure database hosting and user authentication.
- Paddle: For billing and subscription management.
- Resend: For sending you automated trademark alert emails.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. Access to your shop data is strictly read-only; Basket Shield will never edit or delete your Etsy listings.
